For this project, I created a podcast cover using only Adobe Photoshop. My love for true crime podcasts immediately inspired me to create a true crime podcast cover
The concept of my podcast is about a woman who digs into the information about cold cases and discusses possible suspects for the crimes. I started with thinking about a color palette, and I decided to focus on using greyscale elements with red as my bold color. Granted, some of my design choices were limited due to the free stock images I could access. However, I knew I wanted a woman standing in front of a “creepy” background. I used paper rips to create an overlay for the title font to give it the “killer’s note” look. Finally, I added the bloody hand in the corner to give another hint to viewers what the podcast might be about.
